Privacy Policy
ReplyGenius sends post text to our API to generate replies, but we never store that content. Your settings and persona stay on your device. The only thing our server holds is your anonymous license key and its credit balance — nothing that identifies you personally.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how ReplyGenius ("the Extension"), developed and published by Angel Dev Studio ("we", "us", "our"), handles information when you use the Extension.
ReplyGenius is a Chrome browser extension that generates social media comment replies on LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Reddit using AI. To do this, the Extension sends post text to our secure API, which forwards it to OpenAI's language model and returns generated reply suggestions. This policy explains exactly what data is involved, where it goes, and what we do with it.
By installing and using ReplyGenius you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.
Data We Process
ReplyGenius processes the minimum data necessary to generate replies. Here is a full breakdown of every piece of data involved and where it goes:

Post content is never stored. When you generate a reply, the post text travels from your browser to our Cloudflare Worker to OpenAI and back — it is processed in memory and discarded. We have no record of what posts you replied to.
Data Storage
ReplyGenius stores data in two places:
chrome.storage.local — a browser-native storage mechanism that is never synced to any cloud service and is only accessible by the Extension.Third Parties

Chrome Permissions Explained
ReplyGenius requests the minimum Chrome permissions necessary to function:

Your Rights
Because ReplyGenius does not collect personally identifiable information, most data rights are satisfied by design. Here is a summary:
Security
All communication between the Extension and our API is encrypted over HTTPS. Your OpenAI API key is never stored in the Extension — it is held as an encrypted secret in our Cloudflare Worker environment, inaccessible to anyone including us at runtime.
Local data is protected by Chrome's built-in storage isolation, which ensures that only ReplyGenius can access data stored by ReplyGenius. No other website or extension can read your settings or persona.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
We will never introduce practices that store your post content or associate your activity with personal identifiers without providing clear advance notice.
